I Got It!

Sara learned out to put her coat on all by herself.  Of course the second I take out the camera she has a little slip up but she still gets it on.  Check out her new skills.

Baby Adam

Last weekend we celebrated the baptism of our good friends son.  We were honored to be the godparents for baby Adam.  Here are a couple pictures from the ceremony.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!  We spend the day at my parents.  This picture was taken not long after the morning battle to get the boys to put on something other than sport pants.  As you can tell, Jack isn't very happy about it.   Aside from that, we had a nice time with family, ate way too much food, and enjoyed some quality cousin time.
The next day we headed to the cape to spend time with Nana and Papi.  We made our annual trip to see Santa come in on the boat.  However, this year we decided to skip the boat and head straight to the store to wait for Santa to arrive.  Sara did not like being thrown next to Santa but Jack did a good job holding onto her.  We all agreed afterwards that this was not the real Santa and instead one of his helpers since he wasn't very jolly.  Jack now refers to him as "Grumpy Santa".

Halloween Fun

Well, we are long past Halloween but here is how we celebrated leading up to and night of Halloween.  We started off carving our pumpkins and everyone was excited to do it, including Sara.  They did the scooping and I did the carving.

Here's the during....
And here's the after.  Not bad for free handing it.
Next we celebrated with Will's class at his Halloween parade and party at school.  I am a room parent for his class so I was able to participate in the party with the class.  It was really cute seeing all the kids dressed up.  Can you find Will??  He is the white ninja in the front row.
Trick or treating time!!  None of the kids were too excited to take pictures and it was a little cold out so I did my best.  Sara was looking too cute in her poodle skirt.

I have to say that I did not make the boys pose like this.  It looks like one of those awkward family photos that we will look back on and laugh.
Before the trick or treating started, we pre-partied at a friends house in the neighborhood.  It's become and annual tradition and the kids have a blast running around with their friends.

Joanie's Back!

Joanie is back from the North Pole!  The boys have been talking about Joanie for 2 weeks now so I'm glad she is finally here.  Every morning the boys wake up the first thing they do is run down to find Joanie.  Sara trails behind them not quite understanding what is going on.  But we are happy she is here and helping us count down the days to Christmas!
