Teeth!

Guess who got teeth!  Okay...so not much of a guess but at 9 months Sara finally got her first two teeth!  It wasn't the most enjoyable few days as those little suckers started popping through but they've arrived and Sara is happy once again.  However, as I think about it, the poor thing had teeth popping through at the exact same time she got an ear infection.  Ouch.

Here's a few more pictures just because.  I can't resist that face.

Last Day of Tball

Will had his last tball game this past weekend.  It was such a fun season for all of us.  Will met some new friends and had a great time playing.  We loved watching him playing and actually saw the entire team improve from where they were at the start of the season.  At the beginning, they would all run after the ball no matter where they were on the field (i.e. the 1st baseman would run into left field!).  And by the last game, they were actually making plays, fielding the ball and throwing to a base!

At the end of the game, the coach presented Will with the game ball for a "great play at second base".  What the play was...I'm not really sure but Will was very excited to get the ball.  I managed to forget my camera but thank goodness for iphones so I was able to snap a few pictures.  These pictures make me smile because Will was so excited about his trophy and ball.  And it is just such a classic picture....dad and son at baseball with the trophy.  A memory we will never forget.  But at the same time, the pictures make me a little sad because he is getting big so fast.  I can't believe he is going to kindergarten in the fall.  When did that happen?

Island Getaway

Back in March we went on vacation to Captiva Island in Florida.  I have so many pictures that I've procrastinated about going through them and posting.  Now that it is almost 4 months later, I guess it's time to suck it up and dig through all the pictures.  I have to say that even with the three kids, it was probably one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever been on.  The resort we stayed at was off the beaten path and very laid back.  We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and felt more like we were in a little campground than at a resort. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool every day and walking on the beach collecting shells.  All in all it was a much needed vacation and I would love to back there in the near future.  Here are some pictures from the week...

Ice cream by the pool everyday.

Grandma and Judu spent the week with us.

Crab races at the restaurant in our resort.  Definitely a fun thing to see but once is enough. :-)
Picking out their crab.  Will names his Captain America and Jack's was Seaweed.

Waiting for the races to start!
Warming up the crabs.  I'm guessing that's what gets them to actually move.

Sunset at the beach.
Look at me mom...I'm touching the sun.

Our bungalow for the week.
Miss Sara loved the water.

Enjoying a little afternoon game time and cocktails..
Duel uses...a float and a playpen.
