11 Months!

Happy 11 month birthday Sara!  In my usual fashion, I am late with this post.  We've had a busy summer and it's hard to believe school starts tomorrow! (sniff, sniff).  Sara is just 2 weeks shy of the big 0-1. Seriously?  That went by way too fast.  She is such a smart little cookie and so much fun now.  I wish I could freeze her at this age.  Here are some highlights from the month!!

Eating and Stuff...
Sara started using a sippy cup this month and boy does that girl love water.  She chugs it down until she has to stop because she is out of breath.  She doesn't care whose sippy cup it is, as long as there is water in it, she will drink it.

She was doing well in the eating department until she decided that eating just really wasn't her thing.  She eats like a bird most of the time except when it comes to blueberries.  You can hand her a pint of blueberries and she will go to town on them.
Beach baby....
Sara has spent so much time at the beach this summer and fortunately for us, she loves it.  She was content sitting at the edge of the water, playing with a bucket and shovel as the waves splashed her.   She also got her very first kayak ride with her brothers and she was a natural.  (Papa & Nana, you better order that pink one for next year!)

On the move...
Sara is all over the place and gets into everything and anything she can get his hands on.  She does not like to sit still and is either chasing the boys around the house.  Or I am chasing her around the house.  We find her in places like this....
...Or somewhere doing mischevious things with her brothers.
...Or crawling up the stairs which is her favorite thing to do.
Loves the big kids....
Sara loves watching all the big kids whenever we get together with our friends.  A couple weeks ago we had a playdate which included dinner.  Sara was so excited to sit at the table and eat her dinner like big girl!
And of course she loves her big brothers.  It is so cute when I find them all playing together.  They will hide out in the tent or they run/crawl around the house trying to catch each other.

Sara also has a few friends of her own already that we get to see often.

And of course...the crazy hair.....
It is still there and getting more unruly by the day.  Her hair is a tangle of curls that I can't seem to control since her hair is so fine right now.  Someday she will get a haircut but for now pigtails seem to do the job.
