Happy 6th month birthday to our sweet Sara! This month has been a big one for Sara from learning to sit up to eating more solid food, and best of all.....sleeping through the night!! She is a peanut compared to her brothers weighing in at 16 lbs 7 ozs (56%) vs. over 18 pounds for both Will and Jack. She is 26 inches long (53%) and her head is 16.9 inches (72%) which is a far cry from the 98% noggins of the boys. I'm loving the fact that she seems to be a mommy's girl so far especially since both of the boys have always been all about Eric. At 6 months, Sara is:
- Sitting up all by herself and loves playing with her toys on the floor while watching the boys running around her. She especially loves when they stop, give her a little kiss or hug and then continue on with what they were doing.
- Grabbing at EVERYTHING and ANYTHING she can get her little hands on.- Taking 2 naps a day and sleeping on average 10 hours a night! She seems to have turned a corner in the sleep department this past month. She goes down for the night at 7:30 and doesn't get up until 6am! Whoooooo!
- Enjoying eating solid food. Sara eats breakfast and dinner and loves sitting with us at the table while we all eat dinner together.
- Still not rolling over consistently yet. She has done it a couple times but seemed to decide that wasn't for her and it was just easier to cry until someone turned it over.
- A very happy and smiley baby. However, she is not one to quickly give out smiles to anyone that looks her way like the boys were. She will stare at you with her eyes wide open and you can tell she is deciding in her mind whether she is going to smile or not. She just stares with her big eyes which oddly I noticed that she can go without blinking for a really long time while she stares. It's a little freaky!
I'm feeling a little guilty that I haven't been taking my camera out as often as I'd like too. So I'm lacking a little in pictures for the month. Here a few from Florida (more pics to come)....

I thought I'd do a little comparison of the kiddos at 6 months. Gosh..I can't believe how quickly time has gone by...sniff...sniff. Funny thing is that Sara seems to be looking more and more like Will now. When she was first born, I thought she looked identical to Jack. However as she is getting older, she definitely seems to be looking more like Will and Eric too!
