DisneyLand

Seeing that it's the last week of summer I guess it's about time to post pictures from our first week of summer vacation. We headed out to California back in June to celebrate the baptism of my friend's twin baby boys.  Jen and I have known each other since we were babies and I was one of the godmother's so it was extra special to get to celebrate with them.  We decided to turn the trip into a family vacation and spent 4 days in San Diego and then took the kids for 4 days in Disneyland.  We had so much fun, the kids were awesome and we had such a great time with our friends that I didn't want to leave!   I took a lot of pictures so bear with me.

California, here we come!!  I was not looking forward to the 6 hour flight with Sara.  The boys were great but Sara bounced around from lap to lap for 4 1/2 hours of the 6 hour flight.
Day 1 we headed to the San Diego zoo to check out the animals.
A baby giraffe had just been born a few days before we arrived.

Gondola ride over the zoo.

1.5 year old 3 days into the trip...
One morning we all went down to Pacific beach, picked up some breakfast burritos and coffee and sat on the beach.  It was such a nice morning.
We heard that San Diego had the best Costco, so of course we had to check it out.  While we were there the boys picked out matching soccer outfits and just had to have them.
Dinner in Old Town

The baptism!

Relaxing at an outdoor concert in Coronado Park

From San Diego we headed over to Disneyland.  I think I may have been more excited than the kids since it was my first time ever going to DisnyLand.

6 days into the trip.  Crazy hair and lots of sugar!

Dancing in the streets during the DisnyLand parade

Cars Land!!  This was my favorite part of all of Disneyland
