Sara is my little sidekick. Always wanting to help me with everything I do. Her favorite thing is to help me make dinner. Fortunately, Santa brought Sara her own little apron to wear when we cook. Cutest cook I have ever seen!

Hockey!
We took the boys to their first Bruins game right after Christmas. Lucky ducks got to sit in Club seats with food service directly to their seat which they thought was the best thing in the world. They have no idea how lucky they are! We enjoyed a nice dinner in the North End before heading over to the game.

Tooth Fairy's 1st Visit!
This guy lost his first tooth today!! Not even 6 years old yet and his first tooth gone already. How did he get so old?? He has been wiggling this tooth for a good 3 weeks now and today it was finally loose enough for Eric to pull it out. Jack was so excited and immediately had to call all the grandparents to share the news. He is anxiously waiting the tooth fairy's arrival tonight. Hopefully she remembers how much she gave Will for his first tooth otherwise we will have an issue in the morning.
Ice Skating
We took the kids ice skating today during open skate at the ice rink. This was Sara's first time ever on skates. I wasn't quite sure how she was going to do but she was excited and hoped right onto the ice and didn't stop until it was time to leave! She started off using the crates and sped around the ice. Eventually she got tired of the crate and took a shot at skating on her own. She did surprisingly well for her first time! As the third child, this girl has no fear! She just wants to keep up with whatever her brothers are doing.
Taking a break
Here is Sara motoring around using her crate. She got really fast the more she skated.
And after a few times around the rink, she attempted skating without the crates. Very impressive considering it was her first time ever on skates!

School Photos
I can't get enough of these two faces! School photos fall 2015. Of course whenever I don't order a big package of photos is when they come out the best.

Pumpkin Picking
Eric had to work so the kids and I headed to the local farm to pick out some pumpkins and enjoy a hayride. It was a little chilly but we had fun anyways. In Will's words (who originally didn't want to go), "This was actually a really fun day!"

Summer of Music
Just getting around to this post a little late. We had a summer full of fun, family, friends and concerts!! Three concerts within a 4 week period was a record for us. And the best part is that all of the tickets were free!! I didn't realize this at the time but as I look at the pictures, I noticed that Eric is wearing the same shirt at all three concerts. Either he loves this shirt or he is in need of some new clothes!
First up, Foo Fighters at Fenway.....
Next...Zac Brown Band at Fenway plus a fun kid free overnight in Boston.
And we saved the best for last....Countryfest at Gillette!!

1st Day of School!
Finally Sara's day came for her first day of school. She has been so excited ever since the boys went off to school. She woke up in the morning and insisted on wearing her backpack around the house until she went to school. As I was taking her out of the car at school she looked up at my and said "Mommy, I'm so happy!". When I picked her up at school and as we were walking back to car, she said again, "I'm so happy!" Couldn't have asked for a better first day!

Happy Birthday Sara!
Happy Birthday to our sweet and sassy 3 year old! The past three years went way to fast but we have loved every minute of watching you grow into a smart, loving, strong, independent and happy 3 year old. You love your dolls and doing anything girly, yet you can hold your own with the boys and don't let anyone push you around. We love you more than words. Happy birthday!!

Last Hurrah!
We headed to the Cape for Labor Day weekend. None of us were quite ready to give up the beach even though school started the week before. It was supposed to be a beautiful long weekend so we headed to Eastham to enjoy a few more days on the beach before having to officially hang up the beach towel. It was nice to relax one final time before the craziness of school and schedules began. Everyone had fun and we already can't wait for next summer!
Of course we had to get a few more ice creams from Ms. Nicki and got a trip inside the ice cream truck.
Lobsters for dinner!
Everyone loves a good sand castle stomp
And of course there was quite a few games of pickle.
So long summer...we will miss you!
