Tonight is the last night before school begins. The past two months went by way too fast. As I am preparing everything for tomorrow morning, I am looking at the pile of math worksheets, reading logs, writing journals that we didn't quite make it all the way through. I had good intentions that I was going to make Will sit down to do 2 math sheets a day and practice his site words. However, summer got in the way and I think its a good thing. Will may not have practiced his math but he learned a lot this summer, along with Jack and Sara. Which, in the grand scheme of life, are just as important as learning to do his math facts.

1. Will battled his nerves and went down the waterslide (and learned quickly how much he loved it!!)
2. Jack finally jumped into the deep end (and didn't stop doing it all summer!)
3. Sara discovered how awesome the ocean is and fell in love with it.
4. We learned how fun taking a selfie can be
5. And how to gain VIP access to the ice cream truck
6. Sara learned how to use the potty. Yay Sara! After 7 years, we are done with diapers!
7. And more importantly, how to strike a pose.

9. And that practice makes perfect.

13. Lastly, we learned how fun but exhausting summer can be!!
