Our big 7 year old finally lost his first tooth! Will has been patiently waiting for this day to come. Most of his friends have already lost at least one tooth so Will couldn't wait for his turn. After two months of wiggling, the day finally came for it to come out (with a little help from dad).
Of course Will was most excited about the tooth fairy and had made a special box to put his tooth in. That night he woke up every hour on the hour and we had to keep bringing him back to his room telling him he had to stay in bed. When he woke up in the morning, he came to get us and together we went back to his room to see if the tooth fairy came. With hands shaking, he pulled out $5 from under his pillow. I asked him why he kept waking up at night and he said he was nervous about the tooth fairy coming into his room. If you think about it, it is kind of nerve racking thinking about some strange fairy lady coming into your room and reaching under your pillow while you sleep.
Tooth #2 shouldn't be far behind. He is wiggling away trying to get it to come out so I'm sure the tooth fairy will be visiting our house again very soon!
