When my parents invited friends over to decorate their christmas tree with them 30 years ago, it was planned as a fun thing to do with good friends and they never imagined the tradition that would be started. Fast forward 30 years and here we are with wives, husbands and grandkids and the tradition continues. I was 2 1/2 years old when we started the tree decorating tradition and each year our two families would get together at our house, play some christmas music and enjoy decorating the tree together. In exchange, we would celebrate one night of Hanukah at the Pascal's house. As we (the kids) got older and went off to college, Alex, Andy and I didn't make to every tree decorating event but our parents continued each year never missing one year. In honor of the 30th anniversary, we all got together to celebrate, catch up and of course, decorate the tree.
