The boys got to experience their first real blizzard last weekend. I don't think either of them had ever seen this much snow in their lifetimes. We got almost 30 inches of snow in our town and it pretty much took us (or I should say Eric) all of Saturday to unbury ourselves from the snow. On Friday, as the snow started coming down and we wanted to go outside and play for a little, I realized I had left the boys boots at school. Of all weekends to not have their boots, this was definitely not one of them. Fortunately for Facebook, our friends around the corner had two pairs we could borrow. Hallelujah...otherwise it would have been a loooooong weekend stuck in the house.
Here are some pictures from the storm......
The snow was as tall as the snowblower!
And then Jack took a face plant in the snow and was not happy about it.
Poor Sara...here we are sticking her in the snow and then the very next day we found out she had an ear infection and RSV. :-(
